I had to when I was in school. It wasn't bad until you went out to public and people would stare. I would be like what you looking at, I'm not naked!?!

At my old school we had to wear uniforms.. They were totally not cute at all. They were collared shirts in white, navy, or gold.
We could wear jeans though, which was really good.. cuz I am not wearing those ugh slack thangs.. The part I really hated was the rule about the shoes.. They had to be closed backed. I couldn't even wear my flip-flops :( We also had to wear a brown or black thin belt, with our shirts tucked in. We couldn't wear dangly jewelry or big rings. The guys couldn't even have any type of facial hair, and there hair had to be above the ear and trimmed neatly. Uniforms are no good. I am sooo glad I am not going back to that school next year! Oh and I am no loser, to whoever said only losers wear uniforms. I went to a very expensive private school, they were just very strict.

I am a teacher at a middle school- all girls. They are required to wear uniforms. They hate it but I think its good. I remember all the pressure when I was their age to look good and be in style and have expensive clothes. They don't have any of that. Really there is a lot less cliques and snobbish people in the uniformed school. Also, they care about other things like people being nice and intelligent and fun rather than just looks.
Oh, my students can't paint their nails, wear make-up, or have hair shorter than their ears or longer than their shoulders, no hair-dye or perms either.
