ok, i think i know what you are talking about. Imagine a triangle that is split into 3 sections. In the top section you would write the letter: V which stands for velocity or speed. In the other 2 sections of the triangle write the letters: D for distance and: T for time. If i'm correct the equation is distance multiplied by time. (you might want to double check that). The triangle is just a reminder of this equation. When you want to solve for a variable just cover up one section and it helps with the equation. Say for example you cover the top section which contains the V (speed) the other two letters are next to each other which would tell you to multiply them to solve for the final variable. Say you have to solve for time and object would take to get somewhere, you would cover the T and then will be left with the V over the D which would tell you to divide. Hope thats what you wanted to know.

The Triangle stands for Change in
Ex. Acceleration = Change in velocity / Change in time
or Acceleration = Triangle Velocity / Triangle time
I hope this helped.

Not too hard! Horizontally, Distance Traveller is just 18xtime Vertically s=ut+1/2at^2 50=0-1/2xgt^2 taking gravity as 10, time is (50/10)x2 square rooted which is 3.16 seconds. Plugging that back, distance is therefore 5x18=56.92 metres. The angle can be found by calculating the vertical and horizontal speeds. We know the horizontal speed to be 18 Vertical speed is given by v=u+at which is simply 31.6. Put that as a triangle with the vertical as 31.6, horizontal as 18, Tan x= 31.6/18 so x=60.33 degrees.

The triangle is delta - meaning the difference between one reading and the next. In velocity, it would be between one point and another. In acceleration it would be between one velocity and another.
