a transit authority because the auto you traded in was being driven through toll roads without paying? Large fines I might add of $25 for each time the driver skips paying the toll as many as 6 times per day. I called the dealership and they said they would send papers to help clear it all with the authority but I must say I am not happy. Comments?

I know the name of the dealer. Like I said I called them. I am in Texas and the dealer states the law says the plates remain with the car. They were suppose to re-register them with the state two months ago.

who has the licence plate from the car you traded in?

in some states, the owner keeps his licence plate and in other states he gets a new one.

all the toll authority has to go on is their photo of the licence plate.

if you do not have the plate and do not receive paperwork from the dealer very soon, telephone your department of motor vehicles, be very persistent, and ask a human for advice.

no toll roads , but had a lot of parking tickets from 300 miles away

dealer straightened it up,, he had not changed title
he had sold car to go to mexico and they stopped in Austin and drove around some
remember who the dealer is the next time

faith you need to stop for a while,, i think your thought process is overloading,,may be a fatal error coming up

As long as the dealer clears up the problem, no foul. But I would be really annoyed too, and never do business there again.
