WELL, IM A LINEMAN, AND IF THE WHOLE WORLD WENT WITHOUT POWER FOR A LITTLE WHILE, IT COULD PROBALLY BE A GOOD THING ALTHOUGH IT MIGHT NOT SEEM LIKE IT. REMEMBER, ABOUT 50 YEARS AGO, OVER HALF THE POPULATION DID NOT HAVE ELECTRICITY, AND 100 YEARS AGO, ABOUT 3 PERCENT HAD ELECTRICITY. PEOPLE FORGET, ELECTRICITY IS A COVENIENCE, NOT A NECCESSITAY!! YOU DONT HAVE TO HAVE ELECTRICTY TO LIVE, ALTHOUGH IT MAKES THINGS ALOT NICER . REMEMBER THAT, THE NEXT TIME YOUR POWER GOES OUT AND YOUR MAD/PISSED, AND YOUR LOCAL LINEMAN IS DOING EVERYTHING TO GET IT BACK ON!!! TELL HIM, HOW MUCH YOU APPRECIATE WHAT HE DOES/SACRAFICES SO YOU CAN HAVE ELECTRICITY FOR YOUR COMPUTER, LIGHTS, REFRIGERATOR, TV, RADIO, AND AIR CONDITIONING!!!

I would be sooooo ticked off!!!! Well, I'd have power for a while, so I'd save what I need and would print out some last min stuff. Then I'd hunt down whoever caused this horrible tragedy!

When I lived in Maine, we had a horrible ice storm. We were without lights for 9 and one half days. I thought I would lose my mind without my computer. I PRAY that never happens again.

Jump about half a foot off my seat, calm down, and go do something else--likely complain and then read a book by flashlight. Maybe go to sleep.

I'd go into shock and pass out. And hopefully I'd wake up when the power was back on.
