His background would indicate that he is a better manager that Bush and he had experience working with real democrats not the watered down ones like Texas. Based on this I think the government would operate more efficiently and FEMA might get help to disasters on time. However he was also a child of privilege and was born with political connection. If he had gotten his wealth and position on his own the indications of competence would be more compelling. His positions on issues will not differ much from Bush as he will be subject to pressures from same Republican interest groups

Given the power of political party dynamics, I'm not sure I am prepared for any republican president, between Iraq and secrecy I don't think there would be enough of a change.
George w. Bush, however I believe is a genuine exception, Joesph Lieberman in an interview with John Stewart commented on president bush asking him why a particular german politician was angry with him, this after George bush withdrew us from a treaty that was critical to him...I honestly wondered if George W. Bush suffers from A.D.D. after hearing that.

i think of Romney will say something to be president. i think of meaning that if he have been president he might do something to stay president. each and every president has to pay the piper at it slow and Obama and Bush are not any exception yet neither of them do no longer and did no longer instruct the desperation that Romney shows. I worry that Romney could be an quite impressionable president. i think of he will incredibly bend to the prefer to the folk that he believes can shop him as president. I in no way observed that variety of desperation in Bush and that i do no longer see it in Obama. that's no longer say that i admire or dislike the two president, that's basically what it particularly is. Romney does not have the character to certainly stand on what his authentic center ideals are which those 2 presidents have.

He'd be completely different. The most noticeable thing would be that he'd bring some dignity and credibilty back to the office since he knows how to express himself properly and knows to run things effectively.
More importantly, he'd demand secure borders and not actively push for amnesty for those here illegally. He'd fight to make the tax cuts permanent and add even more tax cuts for middle income Americans with such things as letting them save tax free for large purchases and retirement.
He also worked with democrats when he was governor of Mass, so I think he would actually be able to solve problems and not be as divisive a figure as Bush.
If you want to see how he feels on any issue, just go to the issues section of Mitt TV on his website.

I would classify him as a Socialist, that believes government has the right to control everyones life, and he will continue the wars, until the USA is bankrupt from them.
Here is some dirt I dug up on him:
Gov. Mitt Romney – This is a big CFR goal: (from wikipedia) (very similar to the Healthy Americans Act bill in the U.S. Senate only this one was passed!) Health insurance: As governor of Massachusetts, Romney signed legislation that required that nearly all Massachusetts residents obtain health insurance coverage by establishing means-tested state subsidies for people without adequate employer insurance, by directing funds designated to compensate for the health costs of the uninsured, and also specified penalties for those who fail to obtain coverage. (Make no mistake – as a middle income person, this is a you-pay, they-say health insurance.)

Vote for less Government control & sound money with Ron Paul!
