In July 2000, Abraham sought over $268 million in tax-funded USAID grants for Hezbollah terrorist-controlled Southern Lebanon. What's up with that?

I know Spencer personally...I don't even like the GOP. But Spencer's a good guy and is not a Terrorist sponser. You're making a huge leap with the facts here. Do you think the Energy Secretary would pass Federal Background check being linked to Hezbollah? Do you think he would have single Republican Friend if he was associated with an Islamic Terrorist Group....Come On! Not everyone is stupid on the planet. Just because someone says it...does it always make it true?

I'm not 100% sure but I don't think that Hezbollah controoled that region in 2000, also it was for aid, which we sometimes give to help the people even in places where we have enemies, and he was also a US Senator and former Secretary of Energy for President Bush so its not just about Fred Thompson

Spencer Abraham doesn't have any strong ties with them, it's just about money. He gets his cut. He was a republican in the Senate from Michigan (my home state) and lost in the following elections to democrat Debbie Stabenow. He's nothing to worry about. He couldn't find his way out of a paper bag.

Double check whether the recipients of that aid were a designated terrorist group at the time -- and whether Hezbollah even controlled that particular province at that time.

Who knows what to believe. The same has been said about our current administrator. I don't trust any of them. It's a game they play.
