i would have to say the valve stems on your wheels. there are valve stems in your motor but unless you're a mech. you probably don't ever hear the term. and as for the stoner fellow you will be disgruntled to know that shops pay roughly 25 cents apiece for valve stems.

My first though was air valve stems, second thought was the shaft of the engine cylinder intake or exhaust valve (valve stem).

Well knowing cars its where you fill up your tires... nothing else has that combination. there are other valves like exhaust or intake or egr but not valve stem.... hope he wins :)
