its coming close, but they claim it will just miss us.
by like 2 feet or something
99942 Apophis in the year 2029
in 2013 it comes by, we go check it out,
then in 2021 it comes by again, we then land on it.
then we'll have the correct data to be able to predict its next swing in 2029. we'll decide then what to do before it comes by once again in 2036. The one we're really worried about

I haven't heard of there being an actual comet, so I doubt it's true.
What I have heard is that there's going to be a meteor shower this weekend, August 10th through August 12th. Most of the meteors should be completely burnt in the atmosphere, so there's no reason to worry.

A comet will probably crash into the Earth eventually. They have been known to do that upon occasion.

Not any time soon. And that comment about 2 feet if it was that close gravity would pull it in and cause it to crash. Closest they could say is thousands of miles.

No, its all a bunch of junk scientists make up because they can't figure out any other mysteries in the universe. But the slight chance that there will be a meteor to hit the earth... you wont be alive by then, estimations are from about 200 to 300,000 years later.
