Well it depends...Barry Bonds with a syringe in his *** or without the roids? Without them and 10 years ago yeah he was good. Probably one of the best players of the time. Now...he is just a steroid using arrogant prick that is VERY overrated. It also depends whether you're asking this question to a Giants fan or someone with a non-bias opinion such as the rest of the world.

Of course he is as good as they say he is, if not better. He is leading MLB in OPS right now at age 43 and among top 5 in slugging percentage.

The best hitter in baseball is not Alex Rodriguez nor Miguel Cabrera. Barry Bonds at age 43 is still the most feared hitter in today's MLB. Ask anybody.

Barry Bonds has, for the length of his career and with near-continuous improvement, demonstrated strike zone discipline -- no, MASTERY -- like no other player I have ever seen, and like very few others in history (and you'd recognize the names -- Williams, Ruth, the usual suspects).

And that didn't come in a bottle.

'Cause if it did, every man paid to swing a bat, on every professional level, would be lining up to buy some.

Bonds likely employed some other, ethically dicey, competitive advantages, but his eyesight and pitch judgment are all his.

Absolutely! Only the people that "hate" (are really jealous of his skills) him think he sucks.

They say that steroids helped him and others hit HR's with no effort. They're wrong. When he and the other players took HGH and steroids, it did not do squat for their performance. They performed by using their skills.

Now, they try to compare him with his past performance, but he has since gained weight due to water retention from the HGH and steroid use, and also due to getting older.

He's the real deal and I've been fortunate to have the chance to watch him play the game he loves the most!

Bonds is good( I can't that away from him and I pay him his due) , So , I have to ask , just why in the h@#* did he tarnish his feats by having "allegations" of using 'roids brought into the picture ? He's an arrogant show-off with a personality that would make Hitler envious ! Oh by the way , take this all of you Bonds ' fans *********************
