Brett Lee is not as good a bowler as McGrath or Shoaib Akhtar in the pace bowling department. As far as being the best bowler in the world, there are maybe several dozen bowlers who are better than him.

He can be fastest. But not the best. In the present Zaheer, Vass, Malinga, Bond, Ntini, Pollock, Asif are all above Brett Lee.

he is ofcourse not the best bowler of the world but he is the fastest bowler.however if he increases the frequency of taking wickets then he can becom eone of the best bowlers.
