Is this really the United States of Offended? Why are there so many people reporting abuse for things that don't even really affect anyone. I mean, if you take any of the "questions" or "answers" on here as serious "advice" shouldn't you just slap yourself anyway.

Can we be the united States of get the hell out of my face unless your giving me money? I like that much better. I say to the whiners report me to the YA athorities. I will handle them, I can beat them up with my wordjitzu. And yes it exists. Want to report me for making stuff up too?

Nunya you have no idea the abuse that happens on here. Today someone put on a child's private parts as their avatar, there were too many questions that sent links to porn sites without any warning. There were so far at least 20 racist questions that were so blatant that these people are daring Yahoo to suspend their accounts only to put up yet another account. Why am I offended? I spend time on "Marriage and Divorce" and that is about as serious as it gets. I've logged in hours and hours talking suicidal kids and adults out of taking the leap because someones words pushed them over the edge. Is that not serious enough for you? If I have to accept the label of a "beotch" to save a life or a marriage then fine, I'll wear it with honor!

Some people have begun to believe that freedom of speech means controlling what other people say. It seems that people have become whiney little pansies and can't take a joke anymore. I am not offended by anything, I respect other people's right to say whatever they want and I don't even give a damn if they say it about me. They are just words, and roll right off me. I think Dan Fogelberg is to blame, he turned everyone into a bunch of sissies. Thanks a lot Dan.

I asked a similar question the other day,(if you cannot stand the heat dont play with the fire) meaning ask a stupid question get a stupid answer.And i got a few violation notices,for what I do not know ? Little kids trying to be grown ups so sad.

People report other people for the points. That's it. If I look at one of my past questions and it is a tie breaker then some people flag they other answer to win the ten points.

I would only report someone that says something gross (or that seems they would harm kids) about children or a racial slur, anything else I let pass. As for the people that report anything, no one forced them to click the question for details.

It's pretty hard to offend me, after all I've seen after more than five decades on this miserable speck of cosmic dust, but I'll tell you what pisses me off about this forum. It's when perfectly legitimate political questions get deleted and all kinds of racist dreck stays up!

i agree. the only thing that should be reported are the inappropriate avatars that people are using. i dont agree with those, but i never report anybody, cuz thats just bad karma.
