Anyplace dark. Anza-Borrego park is good. Or anywhere east of town and above the usual low clouds. Mount Laguna or whatever.

Take Highway 8 past Viejas to the viewing area just below th summit or over the summit to a dark spot. Takes only about 45 minutes from almost everywhere.
