...that can be used to make puppets. I'm looking for places either on the 'net or in NYC. Thanks!

Well see I have an... unusual bed. Me and my dad had fun making a irregular shaped bed for me. And obviously they don't make mattresses in these shapes, so I use foam bedding toppers and stuff like that. I find them at discount stores for instance I got mine at a place called Building 19. I really don't know if they are a chain store or if they have these in NYC. I hope this could possibly help you in some way. =)

I recently needed some memory foam for a project I was working on. I searched the various craft stores like Micheal's and sewing supply area's. The place I ended up getting my foam from was Knox Foam. They had the best price I could find. Decent shipping prices too. They sell a lot of varous types of foam some of them are precut shapes that might bake your project a little easier.

You're talking about L200 Foam right? That's the foam we use to make giant puppets for the Fremont Parade. I'll add a picture of Rob D'Arc's giant whale...look at it before it's painted. You can clearly see the L200 Foam. See if it's what you want.

We get it locally here in Seattle, but I found a place online for you. No clue if they are trust-worthy.

Are you sure its not felt you want. The foam is like the sponge stuff but felt is like fur.

In schools we tend to use felt thats why I'm asking.

Check on ebay or type felt or foam into the search engine and it comes up with tonnes of stuff. With not being from the U.S I don't know if they are a good price

There are a lot of types of foam that could be used
"to make puppets" of various sizes.

So what *type* of foam are you looking for, and what *size* do you need the pieces to be?
