No its not! Your just over analyzing it which is normal. If you poke your stomach you won't hurt him/her. There is no way that by tapping your stomach you could get the cord stuck around the neck, you'll be fine. Best wishes for a happy healthy pregnancy and baby!

nah its fine. I did it all the time when pregnant. You know whats REALLY fun, when theyre sooo big inside that you can actually see that little foot or elbow poking out your belly, and pushing it back in. lol. Its so much fun, they jerk away and then push back at you.

You can cause contractions if you push too hard and much too often. Or make your uterus sore. Just poking around a little is fine.

Laying down with a cool glass of water to drink, or some sugary food (chocolate milk made my baby dance), will make your child move on its own.

I think you are just overthinking the whole thing. (Yeah I pretty much overthought everything for my entire 9 mos.) Anyways, I poked my son all the time, and he is healthy and happy and I didn't really have any complications besides some HPB. I looked at it like I was interacting with my baby. I poke, he kicks. :)

i always did this with all 3 of my pregnancies so far, its a fun game i like to play with them!
dont worry you won't cause any brain damage, there is plenty of room right now for the baby to play!
enjoy and have fun, it is good bonding!
