The meteor shower will begin on Sunday, August 12 around 9pm local time (no matter which time zone you are in) and will go through Monday, August 13 around dawn. The best time to watch is closer to midnight or later to see the most meteors. To see the shower look towards the Northeast Horizon. Make sure you are about an hour outside of any major city in a rural part of town so that there are no lights to interfere with the show. Good Luck!

Summer's annual meteor shower promises to put on a dazzling show when it peaks this weekend — provided you're far from city lights. With no moon in sight to interfere with the Perseid meteor shower, skygazers can expect to spot streaking fireballs late Sunday into dawn Monday regardless of time zone. Astronomers estimate as many as 60 meteors per hour could flit across the sky at the shower's peak.
This year's sky show comes with an added bonus: Mars will be visible as a bright red dot in the northeastern sky.

The best time to watch is between 11 p.m. Sunday and 4:30 a.m. Monday, though some meteors also will be visible tonight.
Get far enough away from the city and its street lights, and you'll see the Perseid meteor shower.

The best times to watch will be late night Aug. 12 through dawn Aug. 13.
Starting around 9 p.m. you might see "earthgrazing" meteors that skim the northeast horizon [Long, slow and colorful].
At maxium activity you could see 90-100 meteors per hour =]
I want to see it too =P

Towards the the north-northeast, about half way up from the horizon. Best time of night of August 12-13, couple of hours before dawn. You have to get away from any light pollution though or you'll be disappointed.

The best time will be just before dawn Monday morning, August 13. But you should be able to see some late tonight or late tomorrow night too.
