There's always fears with your kids, and I don't think that ever really goes completely away. When they were babies SIDS cause I had a brother that died from that...as they got older that someone may kidnap them. I worry about drugs as they have gotten even older, but thankfully so far no problems...they are all greats young adults now, thank God. 18, 20 and 22. My how time flies!

IF this could be a extreme question, i do no longer decide to shrink or make exciting of your fears, yet those are issues you could stay with. young ones do no longer tear a relatives aside except that relatives grow to be coming aside already. young ones with disabilities (please do no longer make exciting of autistic little ones or use the be conscious "retard") are human beings too, and their mom and dad love them and preserve them in basic terms as much as the different youngster. certainly i think of maximum mom and dad' greatest worry is that their toddler will do some thing stupid, like force too rapid or devour too plenty alcohol in too short a time and pay the appropriate cost. Or that some thing else will take their little ones faraway from them. Having your toddler around, no rely what issues s/he could desire to have, is a blessing.

First, that I couldn't be a kid anymore! Then, what do I know about being a dad? How can I do this? There aren't any instructions...

It was the toughest job I ever had, and the best, most rewarding job in the world.

Choking. I have a 10 month old. I am always worried about choking.

The other fear I have is harm to my children. Like kidnapping and other horrible things.

How bout fears?
1. Pregnant before graduating from highschool or college?
2. Becoming druggies in this drug culture of ours
3. Would be abused by mate.
4. Would die before me.

My biggest fear was if they would think that I was a good strong person for them and I think I was.

One of my daughters friends though told me that she wanted to raise her daughter like I raised mine. Made me feel like I was a good mom.

Well, considering that my oldest is special needs and we almost lost him at only 6 days old, my husband's and my biggest concern was keeping him alive, period.

When I had my first daughter,I was so scared because once she was born I couldn't protect her from everything in the world anymore.
Now I realize a few bumps and bruises are merely part of the learning process in life.
