Yes, but I always try to set the mood with the right aroma. The scents we smell around us have a profound effect on what we feel. Depending on the scent we choose, candles can change our mood. We may find ourselves feeling energized, romantic, motivated, relaxed or a number of other states. Additionally, the color of a candle can affect our moods. Cool colors like blues and greens can be perfect on a hot summer evening. Even an unlit candle can add or detract from mood with its color.

As a homeowner, I'm a little nervous about candles. We have a junior college in our town, and the students have already burnt down 4 dorm buildings in the last 15 years.

Yes definitely! I sleep with a candle or two on. Of course just the tiny ones; nothing to big, and I live in Phoenix, AZ!

I burn candles every day and night.The only time they aren't burning is when I go to bed because of the whole fire issue lol.
I don't think it has much to do with temperature,more so that they set a relaxed mood ;)

Yes, they are really relaxing and I love to watch the flickering lights......plus I love it even more when they smell good
PS....if you go onto gratefulness.org you can burn a candle online.....they have them burning from every country all around the world. Pretty cool.

i have one burning right now. theyre so pretty! im like a candle addict. i dont burn alot of em at the same time maybe one or two but no more than that.

Yes, but I burn candles for the smell, or light, not for the warmth. I live in Florida, we have enough warmth here.
