Are you talking about a job in the U.S.? If so, that shouldn't be impossible. In fact, I think you might be surprised at just how much you can make without a degree.
If you work an average of 35 hours per week for 52 weeks, you need to make at least $6.86 an hour to make $12,000.
If you can believe you can do it, you will. Don't give up.

I make over twice that in retail....I have no degree. Get into a big company, move your way up - easier to do when you have your foot in the door. Learn as much as you can about all the different areas in the business you can. Let your bosses know you want to move up.
