it was probably the layer of skin under your injured skin

I would think that was from the initial scrape. Like the blood was forced away from the surface from the force of the cut. Did it start to bleed shortly after? If so, then the above is the case.

how bad of cut? you should see the dr couuld be a tendon. just have it checked out. who knows what could been on what you cut it on. and really it should been reported to your employer as an on job accident. some places will fire you if you go back later tho. so maybe should find out the facts first. your employer tho should be the one to pay the bill. hope you dont get gan green or something horrible and have to loose your limb.

You ripped out your skin, and did not cut yourself in order to bleed. I do that all the time myself on things around the house.

Just your skin.

It's pus I'm guessing. It's merely a mass of while blood cells fighting infection in the area. Unless it gets really nasty, I wouldn't worry, though it might not be a bad idea to get a second opinion on whether it's serious or not.

this means the cut was deep enough to go through the first two layers of skin.

That's the connective tissue that lies under your skin layers and above the muscle.

It was probably cartilage or connective tissue.
