Yes, but you still will have to pay rent and utilities and maybe hookup fees for the utilites, houshold products and more.
Food stamps and welfare isn't all there is to it.
They will want a lot of info.
You will have to be living somewhere.
Get a job !!!!

There is no such thing as welfare! There is TANIF, which is temporary aid. Under the Federal program administered by the states, I do not believe you would qualify for any financial aid.
As you are almost an adult, you would have to go to your local city office. You may qualify for food stamps, but for one person they aren't much and it takes about 2 months to get any if you applied and brought all the documentation required. The city might provide you with a voucher for food!
Don't wait until you are kicked out to make arrangements!
If I were you, I would be trying to find a job and a friend to stay with, or go to college if you can! You can live on campus most of the time!
Jake, how callous some people are. Kids usually don't make enough to rent an apartment in the meager paying jobs that corporations use their labor and make billions! Yea, you can buy a house on what Walmart pays! About 1/2 of the homeless have a full-time job! I suspect you are also about 2 paychecks away from poverty!
Easy to blame the victim!

There is a long time program out that isn't used much by some people.
Its called....ready? GET A DAMNED JOB AND SUPPORT YOURSELF!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Why should the taxpayers support your lazy backside? Maybe now we all see why your own parents are kicking you out of their house!
Go get a job, join the military, they will feed you, house you, train you in one of hundreds of different jobs, give you free medical/dental care, and maybe even a college degree.
Do something other than be a leech on the taxpayers butt!

You can only if you have a child. Since you are not 18 yet and are still at home, why not try and get a job and work and save your money so that you are prepared when that big day comes.
