IT IS HEAVEN! I live here in Hood River, Oregon! I love it so much...I love most of the people here, I love downtown, I love First Friday, I love Families in the Park, I love almost everything about it!

No, I have not. Many years ago, my sister and I visited Grants Pass, Eugene, and Crater Lake areas, did some camping in the Redwood Forest, but never got as far north as Hood River area.

Oh yeah! Wind surfing capital of the world! Beautiful place. Anyone who reads your question and answers that they have not been there ought to consider a visit on their next vacation! i've never been to the western side of the u.s. i have only been in North and South Carolina, Georgia, and Tennessee, and Florida. its either extremely hot or extremely cold. its not heaven over here. more like a hell in the summer time and a colder hell in the winter. but its bearable... lol
