I don't think so. I think they became angry about Lil' Bush becoming president because they have a vendetta against his father. And then decided to make a point. And his arrogance didn't help matters. He should have done like Clinton and played it cool. But they had been plotting since papa Bush was in office. It probably would have happened sooner if he would have gotten a second term.
And Gore actually did win, but you know money talks!

No, because with all the warnings from even before Bush's inauguration in January, there was plenty of time to lock the pilots' cabin doors, as recommended by his own terrorism expert, Richard Clarke. Israel had those doors locked 20 years before 9/11. In an emergency, any garage mechanic could pick up a chain and two hooks at Home Depot and do a "good enough" job in an hour. Bush didn't call a cabinet meeting on terror until a week before 9/11 and then he didn't invite Richard Clarke!
He spent the summer clearing brush at the ranch because he wanted that attack desperately. Before 9/11, Bush was a hardly elected, much despised question mark. After 9/11 he was King George IV and could, without too many lies, get his bases set up in Iraq between Syria and Iran. He could then squeeze Iran between Iraq and Afghanistan. With a successful, prosperous democracy in Iraq, the whole Middle East would go democratic and he could settle the Israel-Palestine problem. He would be the greatest leader in the history of civilization! It was a wonderful plan all worked out by Karl Rove, the Architect, and Paul Wolfowitz, the Neocon.
When the attack finally came to his attention, its fury stunned him for 7 minutes while he did nothing but listen to a story about a pet goat. But after a shot or two, he recovered enough to read a speech well enough. He promised to get bin Laden dead or alive, but when he had bin Laden cornered at Tora Bora, he decided that Iraq was more important.
Well, it all seemed like a good idea at the time. He should have asked his father why it was a bad idea. Father knows best!
What we need in a president is (1) to understand history, geography, culture, economics, science and philosophy; (2) to be able to surround himself with good advisors; (3) to know which advisor is giving the best advice. Gore could have done all that. Bush never could. He was a C-student. He never did his homework.

Yes there would have still been a 911 and probably many others by now. Gore would not have gone into Afghanistan mush less Iraq. Al Queda would be recruiting all over the middle east. No one can seriously say it would not have happened with Al in the White House. It took years to plan that attack. MANY more months than Bush was in office when it occurred.

911 happened because of the Bush administration. The reason our troops are in Iraq is because he continually tries to cover his tracks and it is not just Iraq. Bush also dropped the ball in the Katrina disaster. There was even a video taped conversation of him downplaying the importance of rebuilding those levies. Bush is a thief and a liar.

That all depends on how hard Gore would have pursued Bin Laden/Al Qaeda once he had been elected. If he did what Bush did, which is basiclly nothing then 9/11 probably would have still have happened.

I would hope he would have headed the warnings that the government had, yet failed to act on any!
There is no excuse, sad to say, that an airliner off course that they know is hijacked should ever be able to hit anything but the ground! What a screwed up mess!
I would have shot the planes down, and I don't know why we didn't! There is no excuse for that.
As far as the 757 that "hit" the Pentagon, I am still waiting for the FBI to release 1 picture of that 100 ton, 1/2 football field long aircraft! When they can produce one I will believe it! I mean, a 757 wingspan is almost that of a football field! And it fit in that hole. OK!!

I believe the gears for 9/11 were already set into motion long before Bush was elected as president. The Clinton administration had a chance to eliminate Osama Bin Laden, but they faltered- numerous times. Clinton even has admitted that he missed numerous opportunities to capture Bin Laden.

Despite occurrence of 9/11, if Al Gore was the president, things would had been handled a way differently and much more wisely.
There's never too late to start a war, what bush obviously wasn't aware of!

NO.None of the 9/11 will happen if Al Gore was the president.
Osama had probably very personal scores btw him and Bush and his father to settle.

No. 9/11 happened because of the Bushes. I really believe that & it's not because I'm giving Al too much credit. There was something very rotten with that disaster. I don't know if we'll ever learn the real truth.
