I don't like the State Fair here in California. Too expensive. I'd rather go to the County Fair. My favorite thing there are the animals.

I prefer county fairs. The one held in my county is free and is more like an old time fair. My favorite thing would have to be cotton candy. No matter how old I am I still have to get some!

The food, the wonderful food! Isn't fried dough the best?! Also enjoy the rides and stuff, but half the fun is simply people watching. Fairs bring out ALL kinds.

Yes, every year, for the animals. Here at the Michigan state fair, they have a tent called "The Miracle of Life" where they bring in cows, sheep, goats, and pigs that are about to give birth (and chicken eggs in incubators ready to hatch)! If you're lucky you can witness it. Otherwise you still get to see all the new babies! I'd spend all day in there if my family let me.

Now that I am older I enjoy all the quilts on display. Of course I enjoy the grat food as well!! I played some of the fair games last time they came to town and actually won a couple, that was fun!

I enjoy the funnel cakes. I try to only get them at the state fair so that I don't feel guilty about eating it.

i went to the ohio state fair this year and all it was was food stands and 4-H booths. it's way too expensive and you can do the same things at the county far for far less. that being said, i like county fairs much better!

i luvee our fair!
But our fair has tons of kewl stuff...my faves areee:
1. The bands (we had hinder, lifehouse, and tons of oldies bands this year = ]]...and last year we had all american rejects)
2. The food = ]] even tho its overpriced, its still yummy!! â¥
3. The whole feelll!!! i just luv everything about it â¥
