Are you talking about a program or Windows? Quite frankly, formatting my hard drive is the last thing I would want to do.

If it were me, I would uninstall anything I no longer wanted, then go for a Windows Repair. After a successful repair, I would Scandisk, Disk Cleanup, and defrag. But that's just me.
