You are starting a team that will play an a established league Right? Well NO you do NOT have to have certified coaches That had got to be the funniest thing I have heard. Now if the league rules state you have to then you need to find out which certification they go through, because there are 1000,s of them out there. Insurance can be OUTRAGEOUS. I was a HC and GM for a semipro indoor team and Insurance was 15,000 a year (High) Coverd EVERYTHING from the field to fans players coaches the wall nets parking lot. Low 850 did not cover ****. I would say for outside you should be able to find it for around 1500. We used Katy insurance out of Texas (Google search them) YOU WILL NOT go to prison. You have to check with the league to see what need to be done. If you are just starting the league yourself then you need to do A LOT more work that would take years to get to the point of even playing one down, but Nothing stated is a legal matter unless you done have insurance and someone gets hurt they can sue you, but NO PRISON time LMFAO Who ever told you that needs to be kicked HARD he is a complete TOOL!

I'm thinking about doing this myself. I played on one a few years back, but it was an hour drive to and from practice so wasn't very convenient.
There is alot involved in getting one started. Here is a link that might help.
