Its a popularity contest and she already has HUGE name recognition, just like Bush and Gore did
I really could never vote for her because of the way she and her husband tried to ram a version of socialized medicine on the USA back in 93
and she is the victim of infidelity!!
sure a strong woman forgives and moves on, but she also divorces the creep
I think she is in eligible to be president because it means Bill is co-President AGAIN!!
stretch your mind around that!

No she is NOT a leader. :) let us all pray that she don't make it into presidency.. we really be in trouble then.. If I had my choice, the next president would be Colin Powell.. but.. that is not going to happen.. and yes.. she got there from her husband.. hopefully most Americans will remember the humiliation he put us through, when it comes time for election if she makes it that far.. Bill Clinton made all other countries laugh at us.. poke fun.. This country is not ready for a woman president. I am a woman and I used to think that we need a woman president.. because I thought all women were pacifist... but I found out that is not true, women in power are tyrants.. worse than men.. again.. let us pray she don't get very far...

her populartiy comes from her husband.. the sad part is that in some important issues she differs from him and most people don't realize that
I think like someone mentioned about the same thing is with our current president.. his popularity back then was from his father...
I say we actually listening to the canidates ideas and check their track records before just voting anyone in
thats why I'm voting for Ron Paul!!

Before becoming President, George W. Bush ran a bunch of failed businesses, trading off his daddy's connections, and became Governor of Texas, a largely ceremonial post with little real power. Mind you, that lack of experience showed in his performance, didn't it?

What are her qualifications to be president? Uuh...nothing!!! She's phony, and she will NEVER see the inside of the oval office from the president's desk. Bank on that.

Yes it does give her leadership experience.
She is one of very few first ladies who were extremely active in politics, she championed for change as first lady. That is called taking initiative and leading.

she will learn how to be a leader. the point is, is she qualified to be president of the US?i would say YES. she is smart, balanced, poised, fluent , hi IQ, has 1st hand experience of who is who in world poltics.
the fact that she is married to bill doesnt degrade her position as a contender. she had the chance and will use it, not seize it. she has brains .

Isn't it the truth that if GWB hadn't had a rich daddy who was president with lots of connections, he would not be president today?
Hillary Clinton on the other hand, has been a leader all of her life. In HS as class president & Valedictorian as well as in college.
The people of New York elected Hillary Rodham Clinton to the United States Senate on November 7, 2000.
- She serves on the Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee; the Environment and Public Works Committee; the Special Committee on Aging; and she is the first New Yorker ever to serve on the Senate Armed Services Committee.
- After the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, Senator Clinton worked with her colleagues to secure the funds New York needed to rebuild.
- In 2004, Senator Clinton was asked by the Department of Defense to serve as the only Senate member of the Transformation Advisory Group to the Joint Forces Command. She has visited troops in Iraq and Afghanistan; at Fort Drum in New York, home of the 10th Mountain Division; and at Walter Reed Military Hospital to learn first hand the challenges facing American combat forces. She is an original sponsor of legislation that expanded health benefits to members of the National Guard and Reserves.
- In the Senate, she has continued her work for children and families by leading efforts to ensure the safety of prescription drugs for children, with legislation now included in the Pediatric Research Equity Act; working to strengthen the Children's Health Insurance Program, which increased coverage for children in low income working families; and helping schools address environmental hazards.
- Senator Clinton continues to work to increase access to health care. She authored legislation that has been enacted to improve recruitment and retention of nurses, to improve quality and lower the cost of prescription drugs, and to protect our food supply from bioterrorism. She sponsored legislation to increase America’s commitment against Global AIDS, and is now leading the fight for expanded use of information technology in the health care system to decrease administrative costs and reduce medical errors.
- To encourage business expansion, Senator Clinton co-sponsored legislation enacted in 2004 to extend tax credits to communities in regions designated as Renewal Communities.
- Senator Clinton has spoken clearly about the importance of protecting our constitutional rights, respecting such landmark Supreme Court decisions as Roe v. Wade.
- Strongly committed to making sure that every American has the right to vote in fair, accessible and credible elections – and that every vote must be counted, Senator Clinton introduced the Count Every Vote Act of 2005, to provide a verified paper ballot for every vote cast in electronic voting machines; set a uniform standard for provisional ballots, and require the Federal Election Assistance Commission to issue standards that ensure uniform access to voting machines and election personnel in every community.
