when you're really in need of some coffee, so you go over to make a fresh pot, and realize that you have ALREADY made a pot, you just forgot that you did? So there is a full pot of coffee already there, fresh and waiting for you. :)

Or does that just mean that you're developing memory loss at a young age? :)

I really think coffee is the truth serum in our society. Why,
It costs anywhere from a couple of cents to make cup all the way up to $5+ to go buy a cup. So, the marketing experts can't get a handle on it. Oh' there is Starbucks ( hey name YOUR coffee shop "MOONCOINS"), but in actuality what made that work was there was a guy who saw the weakness in a certain group of consumers. It had nothing to do with coffee. Sure he's somehow convinced millions of folks to believe it was the coffee, but how could he lose-coffee's great stuff?! And of course he's going to offer the best premo brew in town, he charges so freakin' much.
So what does this have to do with your question? I don't know, I just thought I'd throw it in there.
I made a cup yesterday morning and went and sat on the couch. Some time later I kept telling myself to get up and make a cup of coffee, and sure enough, I already did! Yeah' that's a great little surprise alright. I gage how much I'm losing my memory by how often I forget something, not if I forget here and there.
As far as health goes, there it is again- truth serum. For years the Surgeon General has said everything good and bad about coffee. I heard last week on the news, that older women get a better memory by drinking coffee. But just older women. I'm a man who drinks coffee all day long, so don't quote me on that, I could be unreliable.

Over-indulgence is more likely. Loss of temporary memory might preclude the onset to old timers..best put another pot to continue...we'll be a while yet.

Dang, why can't this ever happen to me? I crave the coffee, but I hate making the coffee. That would just tickle me if I thought about making it and it was already there!

I do that very often. I don't know what it means, but I just take it as a sign that I can mark one thing off of my list of things to do : )
