Each special edition features cloth binding, ribbon bookmark, gold-edged pages and a gold-foil-embossed cover.
oops forgot to add! The adult/child versions are the same except for the front cover picture.

There's not much difference. It just looks fancier with bigger text. The adult and children normal book is the same except with different covers.

i got a special edition book, there is a color illustration inside the book and at the beginning of each chapter there is a small picture (in all books) well at the end of the special edition those illustrations are full size pages. also the actual book is a different color, the se is black with red lettering. the regular one is mustard and seafoam green.
