Terrorism is a tool or tactic, we have used it and often continue to do so...Shock and Awe is a nice name for terrorize and devastate from the air. If you want to defeat religious fanatics, ours and theirs education is the best way, also we could use some of our defense spending to feed the poor on a large scale if you take away hunger and abject poverty you make it much harder to recruit, as the poor and hungry are usually the ones who are first to be sacrificed no body hates the guy who is feeding them, but it must be no strings attached.

Read the "report" "Rebuilding America's Defenses" published 9/2000 by the Project for a New American Century (PNAC).Then look at who the members of PNAC are...Richard Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld, Paul Wolfowitz, Jeb Bush, Richard Perle...recognize any of those "terrorists"?

That's why Tim Bin Laden had the leader of the Northern Alliance assassinated on Sept. 10th 2001.

You can't. Ever.

There will always be terrorists.

They will always regroup. They will always try to attack. They always have.

Like a war against disease, or drugs. You can't win.

You can lose.

It's easy. Quit fighting. Just stop and die.

You see, this battle is forever. It always has been. We'd lose a ship, a part of an embassy, a few travelers, and we'd shrug it off. We were strong, healthy, as a country. The loss could be borne. But 3000 people in the middle of New York?

That was enough to get us to realize that we'd lived incorrectly for some time. We brought out the disinfectant and started cleaning.

We can't win. We can make them so miserable and kill so many of them that we have a period of "good health", and keep it up every once in a while to make sure we don't get "sick".

That's the best we can do.

I don't know that you can ever truly defeat terrorism, but you can reduce their ability to strike. And this involves killing as many of them as you can, and making nations realize that supporting them is too costly.

Most terrorism exists purely because another group of people doesn't worship Allah.. or worship him slightly differently. This isn't something you can wish away, or make stop with a hug and a cookie.
