Yes, I started buying in 1990 when I was 19 (I was a late starter) and got about 160 that way, then my folks moved to Cornwall and upgraded to CD at the same time, so I got a further 200 from them. I still play vinyl at home.
Never got into CDs really. I was a big supporter of Minidisc though, and have about 130 of those.

Up until 3 years ago I owned 3000 LPs and 1700 12" singles and about 1500 7" singles. Unfortunately I had to sell them to make space in a room to create sleeping space for my beautiful twin daughters.
Don't get me wrong I don't regret the birth of my daughters. I just feel sad that I didn't enough room to rehouse the vinyl elsewhere.

I'm a child of the 70's and own about 100 albums and probably 400 45's.
Some friends of mine bought me a new record player (modern style) for Christmas a few years ago so I'm still able to enough the music of my youth.

At last count I have over 200 LPs, at least that many 45s and several dozen 78s. I even still have a record player. And it works too.

No, I gave all my 33 1/3 LP's and 45's to Goodwill many many many years ago. Most were just about worn out.
Never counted them. Maybe 100 33 1/3rds, maybe 150 -45's.
