We've been friends for years, but I was totally in love with her when we get to know each other and I've told her later that I had this weird crush, although not anymore (well, I still have some weird longing for her) and she was totally ok with it.

So we were clubbing and I met up with this other old friend and had a nice chat, but my ''crush'' took an instant dislike on my other friend and started acting really flirty with me, we always have this fun flirt going on, but now she flirted constantly to get my attention and even after my friend had left my ''crush'' kept on flirting like crazy!

She has a girlfriend and she's no cheating type and I suspect she may have had some feelings for me too back in the day, but not anymore, so what the hell was up with that?!! Was she just jealous of me having other friends and knew she'd get my attention by flirting or does she see me with more affection compared to other friends, but not necessarily like me romantically?
We're both girls btw.

Thanks for the answers so far. I'm afraid to do anything, because she's in a relationship and on the next day she acted normally. It's just that whenever she's drunk she sometimes starts to flirt with me, more than she does with other friends, but she's never, almost literally, thrown herself at me! I often wonder about her flirting that she just tries to make me feel good cos I told her about my crush, but meeting my other friend, who she knew I saw just as a friend, just made her act so wild that I'm totally confused why she felt so threathened.

She has said many times that people like me aren't her type, and used to compare her girlfriend to me, telling me how some of her qualities were better than mine, which I also found weird, cos you don't usually say something like that to a friend. I was thinking maybe she tried to get my crush for her go away or maybe try to convince herself that she can't have a crush on me for some reason or other.

sounds like she is a little jealous. sometimes girls just do it out of plain jealousy even though we dont want a relationship with that person, just beacuse we need the attention and feel like we need to be "wanted". its weird.

maybe she still wants to be with you...
ask her

Having is not so good as wanting. - she is living a fantasy of what if because now she knows you could have been but you seem to know it is better off the way it is. Just don't go clubbing together for a bit it will sort its self out. good Luck!

Her feelings only came out when she felt threatened by another woman, she must really like you so go for it, what have you to lose?
