The 25th anniversary is silver. You could get something like a silver and marble cheese set. Picture frames are always nice gifts for an anniversary.

We received an all inclusive vacation to the Dominican Republic. It was wonderful!! We were told to get passports and keep a certain week free, the vacation was booked the day before we left (to get the cheapest rates), we stayed in a 4.5 star resort and had a wonderful time, just the two of us. You could ask the family to go in on this with you, if you like.

I know this may sound trivial....(we are a family that gives small gifts.) I would give them a beautiful 8 x 10 frame. Then after the party (if there is one) give them a nice enlarged snapshot of themselves to put in the frame. A trip sounds wonderful, if you have the means to give a gift of that magnitude.

Get together with family and give them a cruise alone (you can decide who babysits if anyone still needs too) the cruise lines have "gift cruising" available and they can choose the date. It will be a great reward for such an accomplishment - and much deserved.
