That's about the most ludicrous question I think I've ever read on here. You're actually comparing car accidents to terrorism. Get a clue, all the money in the world couldn't stop people from crashing their cars. I'd rather the government spend my money on protecting me from being killed by extremists who hate me for being an American rather than to stop me from getting in a car accident.

Mr louis you, i nor the government is going to change terrorism it is a concept and you would have to know what's in that person mind to stop him. Like we can carry only 4oz of lotion, come on and in a zip lock bag. Bet the terrorist are laughing at that one or they own stock in zip lock bags. Who in the world comes up with some of this junk. Fighting a concept? we have reached a new low. It will be over when we have full control of the oil in iraq. People wake up.

The death, injury and accident rate was far higher when we had to rely on horses than it is with the use of automobiles.

Your probably right but??? Less than 4000 died from Terrorism? All over the world there is millions dieing from terriorism. Go to Africa. or the African embassy, the subway train in the UK and the soldiers dieing from road side bombs? Millions are dieing to terrism activities.

I'm not sure that the two statistics (death by car accident vs. death by terrorism) are comparable -- people drive knowing the risks, and most of their deaths are considered accidents, while people killed by foreign terrorists are the victims of a deliberate attack.
That said? Yeah, we're spending too much on this war.
