I have had sore, heavy breasts for the past four days, and the only time I have experienced this b4 was when I was breast feeding, which was very painful. I am 40 now and I am definately not pregnant.

Are you on any muscle relaxants for any reason? I was recently prescribed a muscle relaxant, and when I wake in the morning my breasts were so unbelievably painful, not tender, PAINFUL.

I took them for 4 days and stopped. I would actually cry, they hurt so much.

If you're trying a new form of birth control, that could be causing some swelling. Some medicines can do it too. It may be something to see your doctor about, especially if you have started any new medication.

If they are large, you may need to have a breast augmentation. And just to be on the safe side from breast cancer, go to your doctor and have them looked at.

Without knowing your medical history, I'd say you should get to your doctor. It may be nothing, but why risk it?
