There are no options other than using an external cd to do the job. If you could get inside of Windows to use any of the methods that work there, you would not be asking this question.

I have used a Linux based program on a half dozen occasions to get into a computer for a user who has forgotten a password. The only issue with most of these programs, is if you have encrypted any files inside of Windows using the file encryption function, most people do not do this.

If you do have encrypted files stored on the computer, you will not delete then using the password breakers, but you will also not be able to open them unless you can remember the original password used to encrypt them.

If you email me I can send you an iso image of the program I use. Although the interface looks very intimidating, if you follow the instructions, it works well and it does default to the correct setting on each step for almost all users.

What the program I use does is reset the password to blank, so you can go into the account without typing one. Then you can wet a new password once your into windows. Note that the program will run error check automatically when it finished resseting the password, this is normal and means things are working correctly.

There is nothing else you can do if you don't want to use any external software. My recommendation for a bootable cd is ophcrack. It boots up, wait a few minutes and it will give you the passwords for all the accounts on the computer.
