I mean Ram for instance....On-line it's 35.00, BestBuy it's 65.00. I know retailers mark everything up......I did not know they marked it up that much....

What gives?

A place like Newegg can buy 100,000 of each thing, and get huge discounts, a store like Bestbuy can't really buy more than 100 of anything.

Bestbuy has more employees to support as well as the stores, warehouses and distribution. Newegg, on the other hand, only operates with warehouses and their corporate center.

sales taxes, plus retail stores know alot of people don't like ordering online so they hijack the price cause they know people will pay it. Also, if someone needs it in a hurry, they will pay any price to get it.

Also, places like Newegg are basically just warehouses, and since they can buy in higher quantities, they get discounted prices from the manufacturer.

because TAX
and because if you walk into a store you pay eithr ca$h, or credit card, or personal check

online e-businesses accept mostly credit cards. and you don't have to pay sales tax because store locates at different state.

because when they are bought in bigger lots things cost less
