if you roll up an empty piece of paper, put a tissue as a filter, set the tip on fire, and start smoking it, with nothign inside. just an empty hand-made cigarette. does that do anythign to yuor health?

Yes it still would. But probably not as much harm but still it would harm your lungs as your still inhaling somke and somking.

You'll still be putting smoke into your lungs. Your lungs need oxygen (and a mixture of other gasses) for you to breathe, but the burning takes the oxygen out of the air. So while it may not have as many long lasting effects as tobacco, it's not really healthy for you.

For starters any smoke in your lungs is not good, paper and tissues are usually treated with all sorts of chemicals, like cyanide, chlorine and dioxin, so it's pretty toxic.

Um, besides giving you a headache? And why would you be smoking paper? Are you developmentally disabled? Who knows how it will affect your health anyway I don't think studies have been done on smoking paper.

Well, besides being really dumb, yes you are still inhaling particulates from the burning paper. These can cause health issues.
