You don't need any card. If the game doesn't work on the laptop, you're out of luck. Very few of them have upgradable video.

Do you mean video card? Well, the problem with video cards on laptops are only a select few are even upgradeable. You can purchase an external video card, but they are very expensive and you would need an external monitor. Considering your setup you would do better to upgrade the memory than try to get a better video card to work on your laptop.

I am assuming you are talking about a video card. As for video games, can you be a little more specific?

If video card, you may already have an embeded video card which you can use for solitaire and low graphics games. If you are going to be playin today's latest edge game, you could spend upwards of $500. but I assume if you know what game you are goin to play, you wouldnt be asking which video card to get.
