i am a Rams fan, LOVE THE RAMS! and you know what i deffinitly think they have a chance for playoffs and even the superbowl if their defense and special teams can become better. There will deffinitly win the division, last year the rams matched up very well against the Seahawks. both times the Rams only lost by a field goal, the loss by field goals is basically a result of poor defense that cant finish the game, and that allowed the Hawks to drive down the field and get in field goal range.
This year i predict the Rams will be 1st i the division with the Seahawks 2nd and 49ers 3rd and Cards 4th. Also i think the rams will be 3rd in the Conference behind Chicago and New Orleans, since the NFC has poor teams.
I believe that they Rams can and might go to the super bowl but they are deffinitly not the Greatest Show On Turf like they were a few years ago.
As much as i love the Rams i dont quite think they can win the super bowl if they make it. The Colts, Chargers, Pats, Jets could also make it and could probably defeat the Rams. I predict Rams and Patriots in another great super bowl game like there was a few years ago 21-23 (another last second field goal)

Playoffs, yes. Superbowl, no. Here's why:
The St. Louis Rams not only have a great chance to make the playoffs, but to win the NFC West. Anyone who has followed football in recent years knows that the the Seahawks have won it the last three years, but only because of a particualrly weak division. Now with all 4 teams becoming better, it's up for grabs.
The Rams have and still have a very productive offense. Marc Bulger is arguably the most accuatre passer in the NFL behind Peyton Manning. Torry Holt and Isaac Bruce return to form a great receiving pair, and newly acquired Drew Bennett gives them a great slot receiver. Steven Jackson has completely filled the shoes left by Marshall Faulk with that being clear last season. he led the league in total yards (2334, 1528 rushing, 806 receiving) scored 13 TDs and caught 90 passes, and the beauty of it is he's only 24 and in a very RB-friendly offense.
The only concern is still the defense. While they made strides last year to be better, it still has cost them games. Adam Carriker should make a big difference in the 31st ranked run defense and players like Tye Hill and Chris Draft should play nicely this year.
In short, Division games and the improvement of the defense will tell whether this team is ready to challenge the Seahawks for the NFC West Title. The offense should produce again and keep them in a lot of games, but its the defense that needs to close out games that will allow them to win more.

playoffs: maybe wildcard
superbowl: noo
HA
to the guy that thinks rams are gonna be first in NFC west and the 49ers will be third just because the rams almost beat the seahawks once...you might not remember, but the 49ers beat the seahawks TWICE last year and theyre improved way more than the rams have. 49ers are taking the nfc west no question
rams 2nd sehawks 3rd cards 4th...id like to see the hawks in 4th but i dont think itll happen

HELL YEAH!!
Steven Jackson is a BEAST! Torry Holt, Marc Bulger, and that entire offense is great...one of the best in the league. hopefully the defense can get it together this year.

they are my pick for a wildcard slot.
their offense is just fantastic with jackson, holt, bulger and a good defensive line. i think they'll go 9-7 and get the wildcard slot.

they have a chance at playoffs, but they probably have to win their division. Superbowl, i doubt it.

Yes they do. As long as their defence plays very good and Marc and Steven play good this year, they can make it.
