I think so, but not for the reasons you may think. Except for USC and Texas, Nebraska has a pretty light schedule (at this point in time I think Wake Forest is overrated). If Texas and USC defeat Nebraska it shouldn't really affect their ranking. All of the other teams are lunchmeat.
This is a pretty widespread problem with the NCAA in general. Top-ranked teams play against essentially high school squads most of the season and they really don't test themselves very often.

i'm hoping nebraska represents the big 12 by beating usc....if they can win that one i think they'll be a very good team...they'll definatly win the big 12 north and make it to the big 12 championship.. a 2 maybe 3 loss team would'nt be top 10....

Na they have a really tough schedule and conference they play USC, Texas, Oklahoma, Texas A&M.
