I made it to the dentist today! The pain was unbearable, so I found a dentist who was actually open on Saturdays and got my X Ray done. It was really expensive, but now I know I DEFINATELY have to see and oral surgeon and have the wisdom teeth pulled. He also gave me some pain killers, to hold me over until I can get into the surgeon. But why do they make your nose itch. This is so annoying! And yet, totally worth it. If I took a couple of those, my husband could probably just pull the teeth with some plyers and I doubt I would feel a thing! Too bad that is a horrible idea.

I know, I hate that! It is because you are high. My aunt is a surgical nurse and I asked her about it. Another thing you are right about is, it is worth it. Nothing, and I mean nothing is worse than a toothache. Wait until the day you get some morphine, your nose itches and you are so high, you can barley find your nose to itch it.

I'm going through some dental stuff right now. I am on 1000 mg vicodin and they don't make my nose itch. A few weeks ago I was on 750s and my nose was crazy itchy. Percosets make my entire body itchy. It's a slight allergy.

What kind of pain killers are they? If they contain hydrocodone, they will make you itchy. I'm not completely sure why they cause itching.
I know you probably don't have cancer, but this link contains hydrocodone side effects and causes some where in the context.

They don't make me itchy, wow, what did they give you? lol And would you like to share? lol
Good luck with the oral surgeon, I've had it done, not fun, have them put you out first! I did one awake and thought it felt like they were going to break my jaw! Didn't feel the pain, but the pressure was awful. Went back for the other 3 and got some happy sleepy juice first, they woke me up and it was done, felt like it was only 5 minutes!

Some pain killers make my nose itch too.
I have no idea why, but the anesthesiologist told me at the hospital that it was normal. (I'm sure he didn't explain why because I was super out of it at that point...)

Nose itches?
Hmmm.....Itch versus pain.
I'll take the itch any day.
It's just an adverse reaction. Better than making it run...or bleed, right?
Don't DRINK with them, though!!!

Are these pain killers that you have taken before? If not be careful, you may be allergenic to them.

I'm not sure why but I know they do. (It's happened to me too.) If it's really bothersome, try taking a small amount of Benadryl.
