Being the tutor to Alexander the Great? That is one heck of an achievement, teaching the kid who later conquered most of the known world, by peaceful means, when possible.

The fact that Alexander is remembered mostly as a benevolent ruler probably has much to do with the fact that he was taught by the guy with the most highly evolved set of political ethics.

I can't remember, did he start the Lyceum, or just become it's most famous teacher, and putting it on the map? Either way, I'm going with being Alexander's teacher.
