Ask your acting teacher or your actor friends. Iowa is not the area of the USA where you will find auditions and a manager. You have to live in NYC, L.A, Atlanta or Houston for film auditions. You will probably never find a Talent Manager, in your city, or anywhere in Iowa. There is not enough work for a Manager where you live.
Managers have to live in an an area where they can make money. Movies, commercials, tv shows are usually, not made in Iowa.

Pretty big ambitions you got there! Well, I guess all famous people start that way. :) Any who, how much experience do you have? Hopefully you've been doing play your entire school career and have been landing good parts to start. If you have, what kind of acting do you want to do? Do you want to play more complex roles that require real acting (shakespeare) or do you want roles where you go on disney channel and simple plots and look pretty? (Please don't go there, acting is dying) Google acting agencies and there you can get an agent. To be frank, you're not gonna get many oppertunities in Iowa. If you're really serious about this, your going to have to do alot of travel to auditions, mostly in California. I hope you do well. I'm about your age and I want to MAKE really good movies with depth, that rival speilberg. :)

Yes, it is true, obtaining a manager just will not happen in Iowa. There isn't even a single agent listed at the Screen Actors Guild website in the entire state of Iowa. You might be able to work at some point as an extra when a film comes to your area. Many film commissions assist in pre-production and production work including location scouting and help in finding extras. Email, write or call these places and let them know that you wish to work as an extra whenever they are needed in your area, and ask them what they need (photos, etc):

Hey.
Im 16, Been acting for 6 years. And now im With High School Musical On Stage.
All i can say is you dont need to have a Manager, my advice for you is go to your Local Theatre and say your intrested in becoming an actress, see if they do any acting classes, or they can put you in touch with anyone who does.
And then do Preforming Arts at your school or college, and ask the teacher and see if they can put you in contact with anyone, because most Drama Teachers did or know people who act in either Big Places or Theatres.
So just ask..
Good Luck..
If you want to talk more, please email me.
Thanks
Lee.

You can't act professionally in Iowa. Unless it's in a theater. Most working actors don't have managers. You don't need one until you have a career to manage. Just do it for fun and be a regular kid for now. If you want to persue it when you're an adult you can move to NY or LA.
