Purples, blues, and greens all bring out brown eyes.
Especially purple!
Application:
1. Line your crease line with a purple eyeshadow (I think the color is really pretty smoked out)
2. Fill in with eyeshadow from lashlines to creases.
3. Take an eyeshadow brush and gently sweep it across, following the natural eyeball shape. This creates the smokey look.
4. repeat 1-3 until you get the desired darkness.
5. You could leave it like that or add eyeliner on upper and lower lashlines. Make sure you smudge the line with your eyeshadow wand dipped in a bit of eyeshadow. It helps to create a soft smokey look.
6. You can also choose to curl lashes and add mascara.
I find that when I do a black smokey eye, it also brings out the brown in my eyes.
This takes practice! Have fun and good luck!

For browns eyes shades of slate, blue, gray and plum make brown eyes stand out. For Smokey eyes pick your color and here is how to do it! Good Luck!
So how do you achieve a Smokey eye? Three simple steps.
1. Apply the highlight shadow to the brow bone and to the duct of the eye.
2. Next apply a mid-tone from lash line to crease, blend where it meets the highlight.
3. Then apply the contour color starting at the lash line and blend it up towards the crease so it blends with the mid-tone. It should look like it softly fades from light to dark. Smudge the contour color along the bottom lash line as well.

The best thing for brown eyes is greens and purples - blue is good too, but you have to be careful not to over do it. The smokey look is best on brown eyed girls when you use a charcoal grey as aposed to black.

try a blue or purple the shade depends on your skin color. If you have light or medium skin, try a dark-ish shadow, and if your have darker skin, try something lighter. Also, you can blend a white or cream color in the very inner corners of your eyes, and gradually make it darker as you go out to draw attention.
