question about computer viruses...?

it might be a stupid question, but i was just curious if a computer has a virus on it,can the virus do any harm if the computer is turned off? like could it acess information or do anything bad or anything?

Not at all, virus will only work when the computer is on. I recommend operating your computer in safe mode to remove the virus.

A virus cannot operate when the computer is off.
