Nut was removed from stuck bolt already. I eventually had to take a crow bar and put the end on the bolt and pound the neck of the bar with a hammer. I then managed to hammer pieces of progressively larger iron bars in between the closed end of the bolt head and the altenator itself. After about 6 hours of work I was able to get that damn thing out. Special note...take care not to disturb the dipstick tube or the coolant return hose as all this pounding and reefing can dislodge them and cause leaking if your not very careful.

That's because there's a nut on the back of that bolt.
