Yes, when I lived in houston Tin Cup was shot about 2 blocks from my house.
I now live in Austin and so far, I know of
Grindhouse (Quintin T came to my bar too entertain his crew)

Yes, in 1991 and 1992, A League of Our Own was filmed here in Evansville, IN. Madonna had Vanilla Ice flown in to keep her "company," Lori Petty destroyed the house she was staying in, Tom Hanks was nice, Rosie O'Donnell frequented the gay bars and they all hated this place and said it was like eastern Europe, except Hanks (he was polite but didn't like it either). They cast a couple thousand people as extras. They filmed here because of the minor league ballpark we have that was built in 1918. It is the big ballpark where most of the scenes were shot. Third oldest in country behind Wrigley Field and Fenway Park. It was interesting though.

No, but the scenes in Transformers that was suppose to be the middle east was filmed about 15 minutes away.

No, but I remember on a trip to New York City we walked by a street where an action scene of Law and Order: SVU was being filmed.

Yes and it was super cool. The Longest Yard was filmed about 6 miles down the road at our old pennitentiary and a little farther down at our high school

Yes and I've met Jack Nicholson, Burt Reynolds, a very young Brad Pitt, an even younger Johnny depp, Julia Roberts, Holly Hunter...oh, there's been so many i should've just stopped at YES.

yes Sandra Bullock directed and starred in a movie at a restaurant a few hundred feet from my home .in Ventura California The movie was called " Making Sandwiches "I've never seen the movie, perhaps I should see it. Sandra Bullock in person appears much shorter than she does in the movies
