Well to be honest I don't really know. What I did was wrong and even though there were reasons why I did it, it still doesn't justify it. I wasn't getting the love and attention I needed at home, he was so involved with going out with his friends he was never home, we were not making love so I went else where. I can think of so many reasons why I did it but none of them seem to be good enough. Yes it has been almost 5 years and I have never strayed and our marriage is wonderful. It really took me being with someone else for him to realize what he had at home. So no matter what the excuses are, they are never going be justified.

My mind strayed away for awhile. I was lonely. My husband was (and still is) absorbed with his full time hobby in addition to his full time + job. He's not super conversational. It's easy to meet a guy that wants to talk talk! And I was lonely enough to keep talkin'!

I've never cheated on my husband but from what I've heard it's because their emotional needs are getting full-filled somewhere else...sex isn't usually the reason why women cheat they cheat because they're looking for a real relationship with someone else because their needs are not being met at home.

If I did ever have an affair, it would be because something was lacking at home. Usually for men, that's sexual. For women, its emotional. Women are not men, they need to be reassured, squeezed, loved. They need to feel that their husband is their protector, friend, partner. Men need women to value them for their masculinity, sexuality. At least that is my opinion.
