I was trying to make you smile. Sometimes, all you need is someone or something to jar you from your funk and you'll start to feel better.
I was upset with my family a few weeks ago, over something stupid, and I was very down. My dogs were falling all over themselves trying to be close and make me feel better. In a tiff, I said "I'd have been better off being raised by wolves". It made me laugh...it's true, and it made me laugh. Realizing the truth in that moment was just enough to get me out of the mood.
