an apple or two or three a day, keeps the doctor away..you could take some good old ex-lax, and drink lots and lots of water...and eat lots of salad also...everyday, buy something with lots of fiber in it...lots of fresh fruit, etc...you will be fine, unless you are full of it! lol Jk

Pay attention to your diet. Eat fruit-apples, peaches, grapes, pears etc. There is a new fruit drink on the market called Mona Vie. This is a great remedy for digestive health. It is made up of 100% juice. The primary ingredient is Acai-a berry from the Rain Forest. It appears to be the real thing! I drank one bottle of Mona Vie over a week's time and couldn't believe how wonderful I felt. My whole body was working better than it ever did before. There is a balance that must be maintaineed in the body or you get sick. Mona Vie really helped my body to keep on an even keel.

Make yourself some licorice root tea and drink that 3 times a day.

Put 1 TBSP of the root in 8 oz boiling water. Cover and turn of heat. leave tea to steep for 20 minutes on the burner. Strain and drink.

**Do NOT eat apples! The skin of the apple will stop you up like a drain plug!!**

Caffeine is a natural laxative. Also, walking stimulates the bowel, so have a nice hot cup of coffee then go for a long walk. Prunes will also help to regulate the bowel movements. If none of these things help you should try an over the counter stool softener like Dulcolax. You do not want a laxative, because that will give you diarrhea, where a stool softener just softens the stool and makes it easier to go. Good Luck!

I've had this problem for years and find the most gentle solution is a bottle of unscented & unflavored Mineral Oil. I'ts very cheap and it works wonderfully whereas all other pills cause severe cramps, etc. You can buy this at any drugstore outlet and it's very reasonable. God bless and all the best.

THIS works...just drink some carbonated apple juice first thing in the morning on a empty stomach. Pretty soon you will be running to the bathroom.

A vegetarian diet would help. Plenty of fruit and vegies. Bread, cereals, muesli, potatoes, pasta and nuts are OK.

Red meat is the worst and eggs don't help either. White meat is better than red meat but fish is much better than chicken.

1 ounce of Milk of Magnesia and 4 ounces of prune juice. Mix together and warm up in microwave, drink down while warm. Guaranteed results within 24 hours. This is what we do in the hospital.
